
Date & Nute Energy Bar
Boost your energy with these delicious date and nut bars, perfect for a quick snack or post-workout fuel and packed with natural sweetness and wholesome ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw nuts (mixed, I like to split between two varieties)
- 1 cup medjool dates (about 10, or 200g, pits removed)
- 1 cup dried fruit of choice (eg. cherries, blueberries, apricots)
- 2 tbsp hemp hearts
- 2 tbsp flax seeds
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/3 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
Directions
- Add the nuts to the food processor and pulse until minced
- Add the seeds, cinnamon, and salt - pulse to blend
- Add the dried fruit
- Run in high speed until the mixture comes together in a ball. Scraping down the sides as needed
- Spread evenly onto a pan
- Chill for at least 1 hour before slicing into rectangles
